FERNDALE, Wash.- The Central Washington University cross country teams delivered strong performances on Saturday afternoon, with the women finishing third with 91 points and the men placing fifth with 140 points.
Payton Conover led the women's team with a 14th-place finish, clocking a time of 5:52.0, while
Kellen McInelly paced the men with a 16th-place finish in 4:58.1.

On the women's side, Conover led the way with a 14th-place finish, clocking in at 5:52.0.
Lillian Neff followed in 19th place with a time of 5:54.5. Just behind her were Madeline Harrison and
Katie Manly, finishing 22nd and 23rd with times of 5:55.7 and 5:59.7, respectively.
Hannah Pidduck and
Araceli Esquivel secured 28th and 29th place finishes, recording times of 6:05.7 and 6:09.6.
Julie Johnson rounded out the top 30 with a time of 6:09.7.
Helayna Bonilla finished 32nd (6:12.7), followed by
Camryn Holterhoff in 35th (6:14.8) and
Dawn Hulstedt in 37th (6:16.0).
Paige Huntsinger also earned a spot in the top 50, placing 41st with a time of 6:17.5.
On the men's side, McInelly led the Wildcats with a 16th-place finish in 4:58.1.
Ares Van Straaten came in 24th at 5:01.7, and
Dima Serafimovici claimed 29th with a time of 5:03.2. Rounding out the team's top finishers were Charlie Naught and
Ethan Moore, who placed 56th and 57th with times of 5:11.8 and 5:12.0, respectively.

UP NEXT
The Crimson & Black will travel to Springfield, Oregon, on Friday, October 10, to compete in the Bill Dellinger Invitational, hosted by the University of Oregon. The meet is set to begin at 11:15 a.m. at Pine Ridge Golf Club.
