SPOKANE, Wash.- The Central Washington University track & field team is set to begin the 2025-2026 indoor season at the Spokane Invitational, hosted by Spokane Sports, at the Podium on Saturday, December 13.

ABOUT THE MEET
Saturday's meet marks the first track & field meet of the season and third season under head coach,Â
Jonathan Hill. CWU will have 42 participants in this year's invitational with key members,Â
Emy Ntekpere,
Drew Klein and
Ashlyn Nielsen making their returns for the Crimson and Black.
Other athletes to watch include sophomore
Cal'von Baker, who aims to make his mark this season, along with
Josh Boast,
Zoe Gonzales,
Donna Marie Harris, and
Wes Kriete as they look to build on strong performances from last year.

The Spokane Invitational will open with the men's high jump and women's weight throw at 9:00 a.m., followed by the women's 5,000 meters, women's pole vault, and both men's and women's long jump at 10:00 a.m. The meet will conclude with the mixed 4x400-meter relay at 5:00 p.m.

UP NEXT
The Wildcats will travel to Seattle, Washington, to compete in the UW Preview from Friday, Jan. 16, through Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Dempsey Indoor Center. Â
