MOSCOW, Idaho. - The Central Washington University track & field team will compete at the Lauren McCluskey Memorial from Thursday, Jan. 22 through Saturday, Jan. 24, at Lauren McCluskey Track. The Wildcats are coming off a strong showing at last week's UW Preview and will look to carry that momentum into their third meet of the season.

"We're splitting the squad a bit this weekend between the New Mexico Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational and University of Idaho's Lauren McCluskey Memorial. Both are outstanding meets with significance in their names."

ABOUT THE MEET
Thursday's meet marks the Wildcats' third track & field competition of the season and opens with the pentathlon 60-meter hurdles at 3:00 p.m. Day one concludes with the pentathlon 800 meters at 7:45 p.m.
Friday's action begins at 10:00 a.m. with the heptathlon 60-meter hurdles, followed by the heptathlon pole vault at 10:45 a.m. The second day wraps up with the women's distance medley relay at 6:20 p.m.
Saturday's events start at 10:00 a.m. with the men's and women's shot put, followed by the men's 60-meter hurdle preliminaries. The meet concludes with the women's 4x400-meter relay at 3:30 p.m.
In the field events,
Caleb Reed,
Brady Holland, and
Charlie Bennett will be ones to watch in the men's weight throw on Friday at 2:00 p.m. The trio will also compete in the men's shot put.
On the women's side,
Kamila Salanoa,
Blessing Ayodeji,
Felicity Taula, and
Fidelity Taula will represent the Wildcats in the women's weight throw on Friday at 4:30 p.m. All four will also compete in the women's shot put.
On the track,
Lillian Neff,
Katie Manly, and
Julie Johnson will compete in the women's 3,000 meters on Friday at 5:35 p.m.
Heidi Gill will represent CWU in the women's mile on Saturday at 1:25 p.m., while
Meggie Kilcup,
Sylvie Gephart, and
Helayna Bonilla will race in the women's 800 meters at 2:35 p.m.

The Wildcats will travel to Seattle, Washington to compete in the UW Invitational/Mile City from Friday, Jan. 30 through Saturday, Jan. 31 at the Dempsey Indoor Center.
