Maier-Potucek, a four-time All-American holds the Central Washington record in the 800-meter, 1500-meter and mile runs. In 2000, she captured her first all-American title with a fifth-place finish at nationals in the 1500 meter, while posting school records in both the 800 meter and 1500 meter that year. In 2001, Maier earned her second all-American award by taking third in the indoor mile at nationals. In 2002, she earned her third all-America honor with an eighth-place finish in the 1500-meter at nationals, and earned GNAC titles in both the 1500 and 3000 meters, while breaking her own records in the 800- and 1500-meter runs. Maier earned her final ad-American selection in 2003, breaking her own school-record in the mile during indoor nationals., She was a seven-time all-conference honoree in track and field and earned all-region honors once in cross country. Maier was a member of the 2000 Cross Country team that was elected into the CWU Hall of Fame in 2015.
