Is one of most highly decorated swimmers in school history, winning a total of 15 NAIA All-American awards between 1985 and 1988. Won eight All-American awards in breaststroke competitions, including national titles in both the 100 breast (1:08.97) and 200 breast (2:31.03) in 1986. Also finished second in 100 breast three times (1985, 1987-88) and placed second, fourth and third in the 200 breast in 1985, 1987 and 1988. Also won seven All-American awards in relays, including five national titles (200 medley in 1985 and 1987) and 400 medleys in 1985, 1986 and 1988.
