Den Boer transferred to Central Washington University from Washington State University after one season. He played three years for the Wildcats, completing his eligibility in 2007. During his career at Central Washington, Den Boer averaged 19.9 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game, and shot 48.5 percent from the field. He was an All-West Region First Team selection and GNAC Player of the Year in 2006.  He finished second in Division II in free throw percentage twice, finishing the 2006-07 season with a free throw percentage of 91.5 and in 2005-06 when he posted a free throw percentage of 92.8. Den Boer is currently the athletic director at Kiona Benton High School.
