Four-year basketball lettermen. Member of first official all-conference team in 1940 and also picked to unofficial squads 1937, 1938, and 1939. CWU's Team Captain in 1938, 1939 and 1940. Won Inspirational Award in 1939 and led team in scoring in 1940 with 9.6 average. Also, a member of CWU golf team for two years.
