Greeley batted .330 with nineteen home runs and 112 runs batted in (RBI) during his four-year playing career as a shortstop for the Wildcat baseball team from 1985 to 1988. As a senior, he was the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) District I Player of the Year, helping lead CWU to the NAIA World Series. At the time of his induction, Greeley still ranked second on the school's all-time list in career runs scored (126), walks (75), and RBIs; third in hits (156); and fourth in homers. Named the team's Most Valuable Player following both his junior and senior seasons, Greeley also was the Wildcats' career leader in stolen bases (65).
