Though she only played at Central for two seasons, Samantha Petrich made an incredible impact on the Wildcats. Petrich helped lead the Wildcats to consecutive GNAC regular-season titles and back-to-back NCAA West Regional appearances. The 2011 GNAC Player of the Year, Petrich was a two-time All-West Region first-team selection and was named the West Region Player of the Year in 2011 by Daktronics after hitting .455 with 13 home runs and 41 RBI in 46 games as the Wildcats went 34-16 overall. That performance earned her a first-team All-America nod.
