Played football, basketball, track and tennis at CWU before embarking on highly successful career in coaching and administration. CWU's Most Inspirational football award winner in 1929. Coached at Wapato, Washougal and Yakima. Named one of six outstanding athletic directors in nation in 1973. Helped organize Washington State Officials Association.
