Central Washington University Athletics

Was instrumental in creating the Merchant Patrol which employed student athletes to patrol the business community in downtown Ellensburg for 25 years. Oversaw the day to day operations of the patrol. Also, was a four year letterman in football (1946-49) and lettered in track. Officiated high school and college football and basketball for 26 years and worked many state high school and NAIA District 1 Playoff games.
