Those considered for induction under the Spirit of Central guidelines must have a dedicated and exemplary commitment to Central Washington University Athletics. John Delaney certainly meets those requirements.
 
A 1974 graduate, Delaney spent more than a decade as the president of the Wildcat Club (now the Wildcat Athletic Association). A former football and track & field student-athlete at Central, Delaney is CEO & President of Centralbanc Mortgage. In 2004 he was honored as a CWU Distinguished Alumni. Delaney has also served on the Foundation Board of Directors and the College of Business Advisory Board.
