Romeo spent 27 years (1977-2004) in the athletics department, spending the last seven years of service the Assistant Athletic Director for Eligibility and Compliance. Romeo was the primary liaison between the athletics department and the NAIA and NCAA national offices. She began her career as a department secretary after graduating from CWU in 1974 and again in 1976 with a Master’s degree.
