Central Washington University Athletics

Placed second in the javelin in the 1969 NAIA national meet and fourth in 1970. Won District 1 title in 1970 and was invited to Olympic Training camp. As of induction date, still holds school record with best of 241-11. Played one season of football in addition to earning four letters in track-and-field. Has stayed active in sports, coaching many athletes in Lynden area while operating one of the largest seed potato growing operations on West Coast.
