Three sport standout at CWU during 1941-42 and 1942-43 seasons. Tied for team scoring lead in football both seasons and was all-conference fullback on 1942 WINCO champ/on-ship team. One of top tacklers from linebacker slot. Fifth leading scorer on 1941-42 basketball team. Helped lead Wildcats to the 1943 conference track title, tying for first place in high jump. Was head football coach at Highland HS and athletic director at Sunnyside before entering private business.
