Dave Oliver had one of the best two-year careers of any player in Central Washington University men's basketball history. He is one of just three players in the history of CWU basketball to average 15 or more points and 8 or, more rebounds for their career His exact career averages were 15.7 points and 8.3 rebounds, and was a two-time National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) AII-American (1975-77]. Oliver helped lead the Wildcats to back-to-back NAIA national tournament appearances including a spot in the Elite Eight as a senior. In his two years, the Wildcats carried a 47-15 record.
