Selected NAIA National Swimmer of the Year in both the 1985 and 1986 seasons. Won A maximum 12 national titles, including two each in the 100-yard backstroke, 200 yard relay, 400-yard medley relay. At time of induction, still records in the 500 free (4:31.26), (9:39.63) and 100 backstroke 51 the 800 free relay (8:48.07) and relay (3:25.21).
