Hall of Fame
Swan was a two-time Most, Valuable Player for the Wildcats and became the first women's basketball Alt-American in Central history. She helped lead Central to its only, National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics national tournament "in 1988, She was the leading scorer for a Wildcat team that recorded a' school-record thirty-one victories (31-5). That team also became the first women's squad from any sport inducted into the CWU Athletic Hall of Fame. Swan is still the school's career leader in rebounding average (8.4 per game). Upon her induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame, her name still appeared twenty-two times among the school's top-ten single-season records list and she was among "the CWU top ten in eleven career statistical categories even though she played just two seasons in the Crimson and Black.
