Hall of Fame
Played three seasons at tackle for CWU (1940-42), winning honorable mention Little AII-American honors and AII-West Coast accolades in 1942. Voted CWU's Most Inspirational award winner in 1941. Following a stint in the U.S. Navy, he embarked on a long career in education, at one point serving CWU as its Associate Dean of Students. Coached at Sultan High School and Kittitas High School. Collegiate baseball umpire for more than a quarter of a century (1940-66).
