Dornan, who played baseball at CWU in 1970, is the first "Lifetime Achievement" inductee into the Hall of Fame after spending over 40 years as a football official. The Selah, Wash. native spent his final 20 years officiating as a back judge in the National Football League. Dornan officiated one national championship game at the collegiate level, the Aloha Bowl, three NFL Divisional Championships, and seven NFL Wildcard games, including the legendary 2000 "Music City Miracle" AFC Wildcard game between the Tennessee Titans and the Buffalo Bills. Dornan was also an alternate in Super Bowl XLIV before retiring after in 2013.
