In Central’s first post-World War II campaign, they posted a 6-2 overall record and won the Washington Intercollegiate NCO championship by going undefeated in five league games under the direction of head coach John Londahl. Conference victims included Whitworth, Western Washington, St. Martin’s, Pacific Lutheran and Eastern Washington. L.G. Carmody scored eight rushing touchdowns and passed for five more to lead the Wildcat offense. Ed Bartlett rushed for four, caught two, passed for one, and ran back a punt for a score. Jim Carmody tied Bartlett for team-high honors with two touchdown receptions.
